1 Chronicles is the 13th book of the Old Testament and the 8th book of history. It has 29 chapters. In the Hebrew Bible, 1 and 2 Chronicles make up the Book of Chronicles, which is part of the כְּתוּבִים (Ketuvim, or Writings).
